We had a great series of meetings with FAO today. In essence, FAO invited GHI and our member companies to have a dialogue about sustainable agriculture and to explore and learn from our respective public-private partnerships. GHI presented our GAP Report and discussed our 5 key policy areas that provide an enabling environment for investments and improved agricultural productivity. We were hosted by FAO’s Office of Partnerships, Advocacy, and Capacity Development. Technical Officers from several FAO divisions and GHI staff and member companies learned about effective models of partnership. GHI member company representatives each shared case studies of their innovative technologies and investment and capacity approaches.
