Farm Foundation, NFP serves as a catalyst for sound public policy by providing objective information to foster deeper understanding of issues shaping the future for agriculture, food systems and rural regions.

The Round Table, a Farm Foundation program, is comprised of leaders from across the food chain and across North America. Meeting twice yearly, Round Table provides a forum for discussion and interaction among members and invited government, academic, agribusiness and other interest group leaders.

The theme of the June 6-8 Round Table held in Ames, Iowa was “Fostering Innovation to Feed the World.”

Charlie Stamp, Vice President of Public Affairs Worldwide at John Deere, a GHI member, provided the keynote at the Farm Foundation Round Table on Friday, June 7th.

GHI Executive Director Dr. Margaret Zeigler also gave a presentation on the trends in global agricultural productivity and forging solutions to help feed a growing global population.

GHI has collaborated with the Farm Foundation for several years, and Farm Foundation President, Neil Conklin, has been an important contributor to GHI’s annual Global Agricultural Productivity Report® (GAP Report®).
