Laura Barringer
Laura Barringer is a senior associate of the Global Harvest Initiative. Laura was born and raised on a family farm in South Dakota. Laura has worked for John Deere for over 10 years and is now serving as the John Deere representative at the Global Harvest Initiative. One of her more recent assignments at John Deere was the Manager of Business Development, where she evaluated potential future opportunities for the company to invest.
Laura has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University and a MBA from the University of Northern Iowa. Laura, her husband Duane and three boys live in Northern Virginia.

Erica Seitzer
Erica Seitzer is a senior associate with the Global Harvest Initiative. Erica has been with Pioneer, a DuPont Business, for approximately a year and a half and is now serving as the DuPont representative at the Global Harvest Initiative. For her first assignment at DuPont, she was located in southern France, where she focused on operative marketing projects that increased awareness of science and service-based solutions to Pioneer customers. Her most recent role has been as a government and industry relations analyst, which has focused on domestic agricultural policy.
Erica is the fifth generation on her family’s dairy and crop farm in southern Minnesota. She holds a B.S. degree in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota.
